  • 1st pulled winning $3,000 is ticket number 455
  • 2nd pulled winning $1,500 is ticket number 917
  • 3rd pulled winning $1,500 is ticket number 785

Support Voorhees Animal Orphanage and enter for a chance to win big in our 50/50 Raffle! Tickets are $10 each and available for purchase in person at the shelter now through Friday, September 27th.

This year, three lucky winners will take home a share of the prize pot!

The drawing will be held live during our 29th Annual Woofstock Festival—don’t miss your chance to win and help give homeless pets a second chance at life.

Official Rules for the VAO 50/50 Raffle (As Required by the State of New Jersey)

  • Raffle License #: Municipal RL #739-24  
    (Issued by the Township of Voorhees)

  • Benefiting Organization:
    Voorhees Animal Orphanage NJ LGCCC ID #513-4-40317    

  • Ticket Price: $10 each

  • Sales Period: Tickets will be sold in person only at Voorhees Animal Orphanage and in person VAO events between July 10th, 2025 and September 27, 2025.

  • Eligibility:
    You must be 18 years or older to purchase a raffle ticket or claim a prize. Winners may be required to provide valid photo ID and complete any necessary IRS or state tax forms if applicable.

  • Drawing Date & Location:
    Winners will be drawn live on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 4:00pm during the 29th Annual Woofstock Festival, Voorhees Town Center. (Rain date for drawing will be September 28th, 2025)

  • Number of Winners:
    Three (3) winners will be selected at random.

  • Prize Distribution:
    Winners will receive a share of 50% of the gross proceeds; the 1st ticket pulled will get 25% of the gross proceeds, the 2nd & 3rd tickets will each get 12.5% of the gross proceeds. The remaining 50% will benefit general operations of the Voorhees Animal Orphanage and its lifesaving programs.

  • Need Not Be Present to Win:
    Winners will be contacted via the information provided on their ticket stub. Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the drawing.

  • Important Notice:
    Raffle tickets may not be purchased online, by phone, or through the mail, per New Jersey law. Tickets are only available for purchase in person from authorized VAO representatives. Out of state residents can purchase tickets, but they still must be purchased in person through a VAO representative.
